    Los Comales is a really great little hidden gem on the way to Ventura.
    I am very fond of their tortas which are all delicious. My favorite is probably with carnitas but the other meats are equally good.
    Also they have really good horchata and jamaica, it somehow tastes better there than many other places I've been to.
    On top of that very friendly staff.

    There is indoor and shaded outdoor seating.

    I ordered the tacos al pastor. The pastor is not the traditional vertical spit type, but the tacos were excellent. The homemade salsa is excellent as well. I will definitely be going back to try new dishes.
