Golden Egg Cafe

We have been going to the Golden Egg for years and absolutely love this restaurant! Three eggs are the norm here, as opposed to just two, the service is stellar, and your dogs are welcome on the patio. Don't pass by the Golden Egg!

So delicious!! Everything is made from scratch the server is amazing! I would have never seen this place but i will DEFINITELY be back!!

Their potatoes are the bomb! We got awesome service and great recommendations from our waitress. Their homemade cinnamon rolls are so good. I really liked their decor, too. They have a big stained glass window with their logo and a bunch of plants on their porch. Those are some healthy succulents!

We stopped in for breakfast on our way home and had a fantastic breakfast. The cinnamon roll was moist and sweet. I had the egg white scramble with fresh fruit. My boyfriend had the veggie scramble with the most delicious potatoes we've ever had! The potatoes were cooked with rosemary and were slightly crispy on the outside. I even ordered a side of them to go! We had excellent service and enjoyed a lovely view on the outside deck. We'd definitely stop in again!

Stopped in while traveling through Ventura, a breath of fresh dining in a quaint building. Pass on the long line of people waiting to eat a few doors down, you will not be disappointed. We had a delicious breakfast, I had the Ventura omelette with home made banana bread and my daughter had a Denver omelette with a lot of nice hand cut pieces of ham and onion... not uniformly cut like major chains have as prepackaged ingredients. Next time we are in town.....THIS WILL BE OUR GO TO SPOT, Thanks Golden Egg Cafe for a delicious meal!
