CJ's BBQ

Mouth watering BBQ for sure! Was sad to see another BBQ place was closed on Sundays so we headed to CJ's and were pleased with basically everything. I would highly recommend their french fries as they're probably the best I've had from a bbq place. The rib tips plate is more then enough for 2 to split for a filling lunch or dinner. Make sure you take some wet wipes because its messy but definitely worth it.

Food is GREAT!! We eat their take out at least twice a month. Service is fast & friendly.

Both locations are great. They give you a big goblet thing for your beer and the girl at the Ventura location is pretty good about getting stuff quick. I've tried a bunch of different items on the menu and they've all been good. I even ordered a melt by accident once and enjoyed it even though I hate them. Habenaro sauce is fire on the mac & cheese.

The beef rib meal was outstanding. I got fries and coleslaw. Slaw had a peachy flavor and not soggy. Fries were seasoned just right. Cashier/waitress was very kind and helpful. She held her own even as she was bombarded with a party of about 25 that came in.

BBQ, super good. I had a brother come into town and asked me to take him back here. The bill was good for how much you get.
