I ordered the small cup of gumbo it was good but very spicy. My mom said the cornbread was delicious. I liked my house salad w cilrantro & lime vinaigrette it was just enough with the gumbo for lunch.
I've been here 3 times. It's a pretty good family restaurant but the food has been hit or miss. The chile Colorado and the fresh little donuts are really good.
Louisiana Cajun style breakfast and lunch place. It's Jambalaya-on-the-Bayou good! Hearty portions, amazing flavors overall (except my rice today was uncharacteristically bland). The servers are consistently friendly and speedy; the food comes out steamy hot. Love this place.
Super good food. The portions are gigantic American size. Share a plate or it is way too much food. The coffee is also pretty damn good. Service is always good too.
Boyfriend and I are from Out of town and were staying near by so this spot popped up first on Google for breakfast. Stopped by and my bf got a waffle and a side of the potatoes. I got the chicken and waffles. The fried chicken was awful. For me they had no flavor. Tabasco didn't even help, but the waffles were awesome! Topped with fresh fruit not no syrup fruit. That made everything good. The customer service was great. If we ever go back we'll stop by for some waffles.
