The Taj Cafe

The Taj Cafe is by far the best restaurant I have ever been too. Our servers were so kind and attentive. The food was phenomenal and they made sure everything was vegan, since my family and I are all vegan. They also brought us so many complimentary dishes that we could barely finish our own food by the time it came. If you are looking for a down to earth, friendly, and all as round amazing vibe in Venture the Taj Cafe is your spot!!! Dishes I highly recommend: the battered onion and mushrooms (both vegan on the starter menu) and they had a phenomenal coconut curry on special. Seriously cannot say enough good things about this spot, will 111% be going back soon!

Tried this place for the first time and I’ll be honest, Indian food is never one of my choices to eat. I was out with my sister in law who is vegan and saw they had a variety of vegan choices so we gave it a try. I was so amazed at how delicious everything was and so full of flavor. Their customer service was wonderful! Safe to say we will be returning.

I came here about an hour before close on a Friday night. They were pretty busy but the service was quick. I will say that we felt kind of rushed to order. In the first 5 minutes, we were asked 3 times if we were ready. They informed us that they were closing soon. I noticed that they told another couple that last call was at 9:30. So I would recommend getting to this restaurant before then, otherwise you may not get food!

Besides feeling rushed, this restaurant was great. The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. I got the Glazed KFC Bap dish. It came on top of a delicious bed of white rice along with green onions and a tasty sauce. My favorite part was how juicy the chicken was along with the crunchy breading. I tasted the Kimchi fried rice which was great as well. I look forward to my next visit!

My husband and I come here anytime we are in the mood for dosa and uttapam. It’s a staple savory pancake of South India .... a very high protein meal! Next to impossible to make at home, but it’s the best ever! And these people are so generous .... they gave us complimentary ginger soda and sweet rice for dessert! Love this place we come all the time. Nice people

Was here only once for the buffet, waiters are kind and are good at noticing minor details. I chose outside seating which was excellent, good place to be seen at. Food was good too, Taj's Favorite is a good lemonade.
