Lure Fish House

This is our favorite when we're in town for business. The fish is awesome (of course!) and the sides and desserts are just as good. Great wine list and delicious cocktails. The only downside can be the wait to get a table, even on "off" nights. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a great atmosphere. Jacob was our barman as we elected to sit at the bar. He was chatty and engaging. Always willing to help. Don’t miss the New England chowder.

Great food! What do I recommend? Everything! The restaurant was even smart enough to snatch up some reserved parking in the parking garage behind it. So, even on the busiest days you should be able to find a spot.

I hoped to have the lobster roll but they are only served with the lunch menu.
I ordered the trout and the pineapple slaw. The meal was well prepared and very tasty.
I recommend visiting later in the evening as the wait time can be up to 45 min. We arrived at 8:30 and were seated immediately.
I was tempted to share a dessert but the meal was just right. The tables nearby thoroughly enjoyed their choices. The aromas from the warm desserts were difficult to pass up, I will plan for one next visit.

Firstly, the service was phenomenal. Props to Jacob, he did an extraordinary job at waiting us and was very polite and professional. However the food was fair. It wasn’t bad at all, it was quite good actually, but it didn’t deliver as expected for the price. The quality was good, mostly everything tasted fresh, it just lacked in flavor. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I’m willing to try other things there.

We went there last year and twice this month. The food, service and friendliness of the staff cannot be improved upon. What a terrific place. I again ordered muscles which they prepared to my specifications. The first week I had the trout which was outstanding, not a bone in sight. My husband had Ono and the second time the Caesar Salad. He mentioned to the waiter that the dressing was a little sour. Before we knew it, they offered us 2 free deserts. We were impressed. Sure wished they would have a restaurant in our area or at least in Palm Springs, CA.
