Harbor Mart (Portside Ventura)

Great place to get lunch or a snack before seeing all the well maintained sites of the area. Heading out on a fishing boat or just want to see the sights. Just looking for some great conversation with Friends

The sandwiches are sooo good. More meat and fillings than bread. Love the sesame seed white bun. Similar to In N Out in how you can taste the quality of each ingredient, making really simple sandwiches taste so good. The herb mayo was so good!

Staff at both counters were friendly held great conversation, eager to help and greet you. Looked like a mom
And her teenage kids making sandwiches. As Ventura grows and changes, this is the local business feel we need to preserve.

Store itself is big, clean, well lit, has plenty of natural light and a clean dining area with sports on the TV. Selection of alcohol and snacks is great.

Recently opened, and Im impressed. This place has a huge liquor and wine selection, and all the "essentials" for a quick grocery stop, AND really good burgers and sandwiches.

So far Ive tried their Gyro and Double Cheeseburger. Both excellent. I tried the Gyro first, and was surprised by the huge size of the sandwich and no skimping on the ingredients. Lots of meat veg and tzatziki in a nice quality bread. Delich.

Second was the double cheeseburger. Again, I was surprised by the size of this. Its huge, with lots of meat. I got the double because I was expecting a couple of thin Mc D size patties. Nice soft bun of proper size, nice mix of greens, tomato, onion, and I believe pickle. Good portion of melted american cheese. AND, an interesting herbal mayo based sauce. I loved it!

Next time I go Im having the Pastrami, which Ive heard good things about. The one downside is (so far) french fries are not available. There are bags of chips and cold sides from the case. But I haven't tried those yet.

This is a great addition to the Ventura Harbor, and highly recommend if you are passing through and need a few reprovisioning items and a great lunch.

Great grab and go for snacks, drinks, and essentials. They also serve awesome sandwiches made fresh. Hot Pastramis, cheese burgers, and special Mediterranean Sandwiches too 🥪! You can take ‘em to go or hang out in their lounge to watch sports TV. Great place to chill. Thanks to the owner Nima and company.

Very good sandwich spot , the food is amazing. They have Sandwiches, Burgers, and very good Mediterranean food. I totally recommend this place!
