A great location to get a Cold One and enjoy the supply of great conversations with new friends! Much selection with not too many of the heavy beers we all know that are too heavy for this weather.

Very comfortable place to hang out. Plus they have quite a variety of beers, some of them intriguingly experimental (e g. Chocolate/Cherry "White" Stout), which, though not quite what I expected, was still very good. We ended our time their with their "Yellow Bridge" (triple!) IPA and "5 Pipes" Scotch Ale, both if them dangerously drinkable (at 10 & 9.2% respectively).

I have enjoyed a few varieties from this brewery in bottles purchased at the specialty grocery, but a visit to the tap room took my already high opinion on this brand to a new level. I was greeted warmly upon entering and felt comfortable that I was not the only solo-party in the room, quickly able to join in friendly conversation with others who came for some relaxation and socialization. The beers I enjoyed we're each deeply flavorful in their unique ways; I especially appreciated the chocolate orange Porter which was both rich and crisp. I will be back, with an intent to keep up on new offerings and good company.

I really think this place deserves the best rating in Sacramento currently. The beers are top notch, from the smoothest lager to the most chocolate stout I've ever tasted. All amazingly good. The staff are very friendly and informative as well.
