Dickeys Barbecue Pit

I was working in Woodland on Sunday and had an opportunity to buy lunch on my employer so I thought, "why not take advantage and go to Dickey's?" The pricing at Dickey's has always been a little cost-prohibitive for me in my mind for what you get so I don't usually patronize but in this instance I thought why not? The store was kind of slow but looked clean and the door was wide open on a beautiful sunny day which made for even more of a comfortable atmosphere. Since I had the opportunity to buy whatever I wanted, I went for the rib plate but was disappointed when told that they were out of ribs. It seems to be pretty common with Dickey's restaurants the few times that I've gone so I don't think that it was something specific to this Dickies store. I'm assuming the owner was the employee managing the line and I would have to say that his customer service was top-notch. Because they were out of ribs he immediately told me that they would be available at 4 p.m. and didn't just cut me down saying they were unavailable as I've gotten from other Dickies in the past. The food was typical for any Dickey's restaurant but what stood out for me what's the customer service that I both got from the owner and what I saw when another set of customers came in. He was very accommodating since they'd ever been to the restaurant before and made suggestions on the type of meats that they should choose.
Next time I work in Woodland I will come into this particular Dickies primarily for the customer service and with the hope that they'll have some ribs.

Great service great experience was very kid friendly and we enjoyed our experience very much highly recommend this place if you like BBQ and don't wanna do the work yourself or don't have the time this is a great alternative.

Love eating at this place. The dinner rolls were as fresh as they can get. Place was clean and fast service. We had the picnic combo and ordered half rack of bbq ribs. We really enjoyed our meal.
