The Chicken Coop

Boom, I give it a 4.5/5! They had music playing, the staff was super kind and patient, and the food was delicious. I had the loaded fries with southern comfort sauce. My initial reaction was that it seemed pricey for what you get but then I got my order and it was a lot of food. My only complaint about the venue is the hours, essentially 10am-2pm Monday through Saturday. So unfortunately people that live on base but work during those times will never have the opportunity to go. I wish it was at least open later on Saturdays but I understand that businesses on a base need good margins similar to how subway closed for lack of business being open longer hours. However I got to go and go again I will!

We finally got to try the Chicken Coop on a UTA weekend and weren’t disappointed! The service was great, she and her son were really friendly. My husband called in our order once he left the commissary and it was ready when he arrived. We ordered 2 Chicken Tender Baskets (one tossed in Garlic Parm) and the other with a side of Orange Marmalade Sauce. We also ordered an 8 Piece Wing Combo, all of our food was hot, fresh and delicious. I loved the Orange Marmalade sauce and the chicken was really moist. We will definitely eat here again, thanks for a great lunch!

Wings are the best

This place bring a great variety to base food options and never disappoints. The owner/chef/hostess creates new flavors and builds wonderful rapport with all her customers. Always telling jokes and with a smile on her face regardless of how busy it is. Love the options of sides as well to give the choice to indulge or healthy eating. Try the southern comfort!!

Carina is typically in here by herself slinging food left and right, and doing it with a smile on her face! She is so personable and enjoys interacting with all of her customers; she always asks about my family!

I always get the chicken salad, it's delicious and loaded to the brim with greens and chicken! You get a choice of adding sauce to the chicken but I get it plain!

Love the friendly atmosphere of this place and the music gets me dancing in place while I wait for my food!
