    Awesome place for lunch or dinner.
    Excellent place to pull over and have a drink on your way from Nevada City to Downieville, or visa versa.
    Don't miss this place, you must try the Ultimate Bloody Mary. You will be pleasantly surprised.

    stopped off so we could see the famous bloody mary ultimate, and was surprised to see the place was void from furniture due to a recent fire.
    we asked, "are you open?" and was greeted with a huge smile and a "yes and no". we were invited in and were asked what we wanted... myself just a Heineken & a basic(not ultimate...wasn't hungry) bloody mary for the wife. while we were enjoying our drink, the proprietor greeted guests and showed everyone what a great personality he had! He chatted to everyone in the place and made sure everyone was in a great mood.
    He rang a bell and was cheerfully carrying on so, I decided to give my new friend a gift that I have had in my car for some time that i figured he might enjoy. i was right! thank you for the wonderful time!
    we will return
