Plumas lake chevron

Last week was their first week open. They had lines and waits, but it should be expected as there is not much else in this area and something new is what everyone wants to try. The day I went I found out they closed at 4 pm (I believe they will be closing at 8 pm now) and only had whatever was left in their case. There were about 5 people in front of me so I figured I would try again the next day at 1430 and there was still a line. Ordered my food (12 piece chicken) and there wasn’t enough breasts. The young blonde woman who was putting the order smiled and apologized to me. I told her it was no problem as you could see how busy she was working trying to get these orders all together. I told her she could choose something else instead and she was truly grateful that I accepted that. Hard worker and was smiling to the customers despite frantically doing things by herself. The chicken was amazing in my opinion. A little bit of spice to it and the chicken was definitely moist and seasoned well! My only critique, you knew this was your first week opening, understand you Amy not understand the demand first off, but you had one person trying to do the cooking, and one giving out the orders. The owner (I believe) of the chevron and his family was not helping out. They were doing some stuff, but the priority should of been where the customers were at and there didn’t seem to be a hustle by the other staff. The girl at the register could of been doing register as well as helping in my opinion. I thought about getting their meals but they don’t come with sides only a biscuit from what I saw. You still have to purchase the sides for which I believe to be a bit much for what they were. So 5 stars for food, 3 for not utilizing your staff correctly (in my opinion anyways, could of been factors I did not see admittedly). I will definitely be back for more though.
