Mi Casita Restaurant

I love this place. The food is really good and the service was awesome. I really enjoyed this place. Cant wait for margaritas!! 😍

The 3 times I have been there, some portion of my order has been messed up and they were not busy at all. The beef birria tacos also were not what I expected. Nothing special about them, very little flavor, and they were barely warm let alone fried. Only reason I wanted to like this place so much is because how convenient of a location it is.

Everyone i spoke to was very kind and helpful. The menu has a quite a few items to choose from. There will be no trouble finding something for everyone at the table. Chips and Pico de Gallo were brought to the table with menus. The Pico is very good. Very fresh veggies, amazing taste, and very mild. Even the kids will enjoy it.

I had a Shrimp Cocktail and a Chile Rellano ala carte.

The shrimp cocktail was standard goblet size. Very large shrimp. The presentation was nice. The goblet itself was stuffed full of at least 10-15 large, whole shrimp. The salsa/sauce they use was unbelievable. Im not lying when i say this is one of, if not, the BEST shrimp cocktails I've ever had.

I consider myself kind of a Chile Rellano connoisseur. Every new Mexican restaurant i eat at, i always order a Chile Rellano ala carte. Mi Casita has two choices. American style, and Mexican style. When i asked the difference, i was told that the American is long and skinny and the Mexican is big and round. I tried the Mexican style. This thing was bigger than my hand. It came out with the perfect amount of sauce, stuffed full of cheese, and had great flavor. The breading was also light and fluffy like it should be.

I really like this place. I feel like its a great addition to Wheatland.
