The Service is great , your glass doesn't make it to empty the whole time you're there. The food portion to price is above average. The taste is great on some items and could use help on others. Look over the menu well and if the server asks if you want it smothered just know there is an upcharge. Great daily specials and fair prices. I'll add pics if there is a return trip. We always experience quick and friendly service here. The food tastes great and we come in often, usually without any issues. It's a nice, casual place to have breakfast.

Love this place! It is about as close to a neighborhood diner as you can get. It use to be a bit of trouble to go as a long time ago they did not accept CC and were cash only. But now that they accept credit card I find the family and I make many more frequent visits. The food has been exceptional everytime I have went and it's been 15 years + going here. The owner/manager not sure which is not opposed to jumping in and helping servers either and it tends to be more lively when he is there almost a little rambunctious in a good natured way. Haven't seen him my last few visits and hope it is still owned operated or managed by him as he always had a very high expectation of service and food quality. If you want to taste great food from a place you normally would be hesitant to stop in due to location or appearance all I can say is toss those feelings. No matter who you are you will be treated like someone from the neighborhood and it feels like your treated like family.

My guest and I gave the waiter a hard time he took it really well when we asked for sunny side up toast. The food was really good. The butcher block is a commerce city classic and I would recommend it to anyone who likes 'home in the wall' cafes.

Great place to get some breakfast in the morning. They have a good variety of food. Their waiters and waitresses are always on top of things. The place is very clean and there is plenty of seating. They have great deserts as well, my favorite was the Oreo Pie.
