(December 24, 2019, 5:00 pm)I was surprised to see how busy this place was at 2 pm on a weekday! This place is cozy and clean and has a nice, relaxed air about it. The waitresses seemed friendly and didn’t make you wait around for refills, etc.
The chips were freshly made and the salsa was really good. I got chicken flautas and they were also obviously fried to order. The chicken inside was nicely seasoned and not dry/stringy. The side of refried beans was really smooth and creamy, some of the best beans I’ve had. The side of rice was nice and did not have frozen mixed veggies mixed in (I personally am not excited when I see those precut carrots and green beans in restaurant rice)
The portions were really generous and I was able to have a nice and quick lunch under $10 (before tip)! -
