Great Service - Occasionally Puzzling Experiences

I love the crispy (spicy) chicken sandwiches, and have discovered that if I order them without pickles I always get a fresh one.

Otherwise, it’s hit or miss, and I sometimes ended up with a soggy piece of chicken on a hard bun that has been inside the foil bag under a heat-lamp a bit too long.

If you haven’t had one of these sandwiches yet, they are amazing... go get one!

This store was a bit sketchy for a while. They were out of something I’d order pretty regularly... no apple pies on one visit, no CO2 for the soda machine on another, for example.

The weirdest bit happened when I ordered two apple pies with my wife. The guy at taking our order said they didn’t have any cooked. I said we would be eating there at the restaurant and we could wait for them to be cooked.

He then said it would take about 20 minutes because all the fryers were full of chicken just now. We said that would be okay, we’d wait till they were done.

Then he asked if we wanted to wait for the pies to be ready before giving us the rest of our order...!? I told him we were planning on eating while the pies were cooking.

After all that, they brought out the two pies literally two minutes later. That seemed odd.

For quite a while the person taking orders would use one register for cash, and the other for credit cards and phone payments. But the signs for that had been taken down on my most recent visit.

The staff, however, have always been accommodating and professional, and I enjoy visiting this location.

I usually stop in late in the afternoon for lunch, and haven’t seen anyone getting stabbed or thrashing their car trying to cut in line like I’ve read about in the news.

Decent chicken when you are in the mood. Salt content is insane but the flavor is addicting. Mac and cheese is not that great and if you wait to long it turns to cardboard. Easy way to feed a ton of people.

Great. I ate inside. Pretty clean even with the large amount of customers that come here. The sandwich is great, not sure it's worth the hype. The chicken is perfect and the rice and beans were fresh.

As far as Popeye's restaurants are concerned, this is the best one I've been to. Clean, fast, friendly. Oh and they had the famous spicy chicken sandwich when all the other locations ran out! We went back twice in one day! Only sad point was they ran out of frozen lemonade. They it they have it! Great complement to the sandwich!
