Forget Snooze and all the bottomless mimosas brunches. Not to say that they don't have their place, but nothing stands up to the uniqueness of a Waffle House.

And of course, keep an eye out for the Waffle House Princess. That was a new one for me.

It's your standard WH restaurant. Very greasy comfort food ????. I had the "The Two Egg" breakfast which included two eggs, two strips of bacon, grits, toast. I also ordered a black cup of coffee. It was good and if you like their food this site won't disappoint. Very nice and lively employees make the experience better. I recommend.

I want to say that for a Waffle House, the waffles were big, delicious and fluffy but they weren't. The Waffle itself tasted delicious but from an outsider, one not familiar with Waffle House restaurants, I was expecting more. More choices, more variety more syrup flavors but I guess that's not what they're all about. The price was okay, not overly expensive, but in my opinion Denny's Grand Slam still can't be beat.

This place exhibits a genius I can't quite nail down. New Year's Day 2020 & there's a 20-min wait for a table; Waffle House is packed & an extra-large crew of about 13 are seating folks, taking orders, manning the grills, lining up plates, making coffee and running the till, weaving past each other in the narrow galley without quite colliding. Yet my hubby, son and I walk in and immediately we're welcomed like family. We don't mind the wait. The crew crackles with positive energy. They barely have time to breathe yet don't seem rushed. They're a well-oiled machine, enjoying the challenge. I ask our server Samantha if there is decaf brewed, and with a smile she offers to make some as if she has all the time in the world & I'm her only customer. The crew is more diverse & inclusive than most places I've seen around here, and they welcome everyone. What they share in common is single-minded professionalism and a sense of fun & respect. And the food is consistently well-made & comforting to the soul. This is why my family will drive miles out of our way to eat at Waffle House. I feel bad that the family restaurant chains in my neighborhood have closed recently, but honestly, whatever the genius of Waffle House is, those other places just don't have it.

Good service, good food for the most part. the only issue I had was the waffles were really small compared to what they normally are. And they were out of pork chops, that was a bummer. Still a great place to eat though. I love how they call out the orders.
