We were craving kabobs and found this place online. Everything was very fresh and the portions were generous. For an appetizer we had the stuffed grape leaves then moved on to chicken, beef and lamb kabobs. We tried both the rice and the special bread made in house. For dessert we had the baklava which was really yummy and was made even better by a hint of rose water. All family members enjoyed and agreed we will be back!
Babajoon's is absolutely delicious. The staff was very helpful in helping my family decide what to eat and how to order it (their menu is a bit confusing). We even wanted to try the herb soup before ordering to see if we would like it, and they let us sample it.
The food came out in a timely manner and was served at proper temperature. The hummus is outstanding.
Although the menu is a little bit pricey, it is worth it for the quality and flavor of the experience at Babajoon's.
Great food. It feels authentic. I hope you don’t mind, but work on your music a little bit. I’m tired of listening to Spanish guitar. It’s a Persian restaurant, and would be nice to listen to some Persian music. Or if you claim it’s a “Mediterranean” restaurant, then play a variety of music. This seems to be the case for most Persian restaurants I have dined in. Break this trend please. I don’t want to assume, but the choice of music is probably a way to dissociate your self with Iran, and Islamic republic? Not sure. I’d love to know why?
I drove over 50 minutes one way from south of Parker in horrible traffic, and another 50 minutes to take the food home, and it was WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!!! Ammmmmmazing!!!! We have eaten in many Persian restaurants in our years, and this little gem was up there with THE BEST! So fresh, so delicious, so wonderful... And the service, and the kind family who runs the place, were wonderful!
I don't care how long it takes me to get there, we will be back, and for many years...
The food is fresh, beautifully served, delicious and portions are plentiful. I have never had such fantastic lentil soup. Wow! The Lamb Shank was so flavorful, I had it served with the saffron basmati rice which was perfect. They make hummus, even though it's not a Persian dish, and it is among the best that I've had. I can hardly wait to go back! I'm planning to make my through the entire menu, one fabulous dish at a time! The owners are lovely and the care that they put into each dish is evident, as is their desire that their guests are comfortable and happy. Highly recommended!
