Applebee's Grill + Bar

I hadn't been to an Applebee's in many years and decided to stop in here for lunch because I had a gift card.

Everyone was nice. Even though I was by myself and said I would sit at the bar, the hostess kept trying to sit me in the restaurant.

Okay, whatever ...

I bought a lunch special for $9.99, a side of fries and a lemonade. $18 after tip. I could have spent half that at any fast food joint and had more food, most of equal or higher quality.

The restaurant was clean, so that's good. Otherwise, it wasn't an exception experience but there was nothing inherently wrong with it either.

I had the chicken fajitas and my husband had the beef fajitas. They were great. My daughter had the hamburger quesadilla. She liked it. The service was a bit shaky, missed items ordered, appetizer ordered brought over way too late the meal was already there.

This is one of my favorite spots. I come here often during happy hour & I’m always taken care of with prompt &courteous bartenders. Special shout out to EJ & Walter! Wonderful service.

Every person working there that we had contact with was amazing! The hostess helped us find a seat against a wall with no people for my daughter to peep over the booth at (she's almost 2 years old and too friendly sometimes). He was very nice.
Our waitress was so lovely .. she made my daughter and I smile! So friendly!
Also, the man who brought our chicken wonton tacos out had a smile on his face.
This is exactly how a place of business that serves food should be. I'm so satisfied. All of the food was absolutely perfect too!!
