We are always searching for that one really special restaurant and bakery. Well here it is. Whether your in the mood for a grilled rib eye, a one of a kind pulled pork salad or peanut butter pie - the food is fresh and Ben and his staff will treat you right. You simply can't choose a favorite because everything is so great. There's a wide variety and something for everyone here. Enjoy the funky industrial decor in their well laid out dining area. I didn't have one of their famous potatoes but I saw one at another table. Oh my. Enjoy ice cold local drafts or an Island Bound. Outstanding. Your favorite game is probably on one of the many televisions that they have. The time that the chefs take to prepare everything so special just for you and your family and friends, shines through in every single plate that is served with pride. I have had barbecue all over the country and also in different parts of the world. This truly is some of the best Q have ever had the pleasure of sinking my teeth into. Bravo team!
Experience was great. Chris, who serviced the bar, has great customer service. She was kind, attentive, and had a warm personality. Not to mention she brought out the warm cornbread bites that i absolutely love. Better than the Westminster location in terms of service, by far. Food was awesome too.
A nice place with one issue. But first, it is important to say that the food was very good and the service better. No complaints about either. The only issue was that we froze the entire time in the restaurant. It was 30 outside and felt like 40 inside. The overhead fans were on full blast and minimal heat. One should not have to eat with a coat on. Looking around the dining room 75% of the customers had coats on... We asked to have the heat turned up to no avail. Maybe we try again in August.
Weird experience happened where all of Southlands lost power while we were eating. We had to evacuate. Our waitress, Susan, was so kind and offered to pack our food after the fire department left. The staff was so sweet to us and everyone else. They did their best to make sure all customers were taken care of. I am in awe of their kindness. I will be returning here specifically for the wonderful customer service. Thank you, Susan.
Decided to try this place since we were in the area. What a great place. The staff was friendly and there food was great. This feels like homemade cooking at a restaurant. The coleslaw was really good. Not sure what the secret ingredient is but well worth ordering it.
