Old Chicago

Great place for a meal, or a date night. The location is kept clean. The atmosphere is relaxing and the typical Old Chicago's vibe. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good and priced reasonably. I recommend visiting this location. Keep in mind it can be busy during the weekend evenings.

While we were there the fire alarm went off, so everyone had to stand out in the cold for about 30 minutes until the fire department could come and turn off the alarm. Once we were let back in we were able to order our food and the waitress handed us a 15% off coupon. I tried to use the coupon at the end because I thought they were giving us a discount for the inconvenience, but they said we had to use that on our next visit. I ended up paying full price. So in the end I was annoyed that we didn't get some sort of discount or comp, and it's not pleasant going to a place where you could tell by the facial expressions of all the employees they were not happy to be there.

Really only went in for a few late night drinks and some appetizers. Drinks were very good, and the appetizers were polished off. Considering it was late night and bar staff, service was excellent!

I was so moved by my recent visit here after midnight. The happy hour here is unreal. A true revelation, its humbling to realize that this is objectively the best place to go after 10pm. The drinks are cheap and food is too, better than a gas station.
