Poke Concept just opened their fourth location by the Aurora Town Center and oh man, this place is a winner. I actually had dropped by the Arapahoe location a few weeks prior without even knowing that a location closer to me was opening. This new location offers a few unique things that the other locations do not.

For starters you have a choice of 3 different sizes for bowls. There are paper checklists with all of the options to help aid you in your decision. Small bowls include 2 proteins and 4 toppings, medium includes 5 toppings and 3 proteins, and the large includes 6 toppings and 4 proteins.

For the base you can get rice, coconut rice, brown rice, mixed greens, or even spinach or kelp noodles. They have tons of toppings for options including crab salads, mango, seaweed salad, edamame, avocado, cucumber, carrots, pineapple, etc. For the protein you can choose between a house special (fire tuna, laguna tuna, spicy aioli, waikki salmon, and more) or a plain protein (salmon, tuna, yellowtail, tofu, etc without any sauces already mixed in). Lastly, there are your dry topping choices including chili powder, nori, crispy garlic, sesame seeds, to name a few.

Besides the diverse array of poke creations you can order, this location also offers spam musubi, pineapple Dole whip, and ramen! Yes, you read that right - ramen! They offer tonkotsu ramen and spicy miso ramen. I'm gonna have to drop by again soon to try one. If you're not a seafood lover, there is something for you as well, the beef bowl. You can also get a side of miso soup.

I ordered a medium bowl with fire tuna, spicy aioli salmon, and unagi with spicy crab salad, mango, edamame, seaweed salad, and sesame seeds on a mixed greens base. My husband ordered a medium tofu bowl with chili powder, scallions, carrots, edamame, onions, and gluten free shoyu on coconut rice with a side of spicy aioli.

The fire tuna is definitely my favorite. On my first trip to the other Poke Concept location I also ordered the fire tuna. I'm a big fan of spicy things, so the spicy aioli poke and fire tuna are winners in my book. The new bowls at this location are super cute as well with a design that features their ingredients.

I've been waiting for this place to open for months. I came in here ordered a small self made poke bowl, SPAM Musubi and a soft drink. They have a 25% discount going for the first month. The poke bowl and SPAM Musubi were very good. They also have a rice bowl, Ramen, and Dole pineapple yogurt. Along with Hawaiian Sun Juices and Drinks. You order on a order slip where you check off the ingredients that you want. A few minutes later your buzzer device goes off and you pick up your order. Fast and friendly service. A very clean place. The only Poke Bowl place in Central Aurora. Go check them out. I'm from Hawaii and this will be one of my go-to places to eat.
