Shoyu Sushi

We really enjoy coming here. They often have new rolls to try. We can't wait to try the noodles, they always look great (but we can't seem to deviatefrom the delicious sushi). Never disappointed by what we select off the sushi menu! Cute little boutique type shot with just a handful of tables. Looks like they are popular for pick up/ to-go.

Very good sushi!! The quality of the fish here is amazing. Also the customer service was outstanding!! This is definitely our go to local sushi spot from now on.

Excellent selection and quality. We stopped in and actually ate inside, which was nicer than anticipated. It’s actually a good date spot if you’re looking for something chill but nothing too romantic. The prices are fine, if it was $1-$2 cheaper that would great, but the taste and quality is on point. I came in with 3 other people and we ordered 9 rolls along with some edamame. We also ordered some Sapporos and wine. The meal took around 30 minutes to come out and it was displayed beautifully on a sushi boat. The staff was really friendly and the facility was clean.
Overall, we recommend you stop by Shoyu for some delicious sushi in the burbs. Enjoy!

Fantastic sushi, great service!

We got the Dancing Eel roll and the Lucky Seven roll, both of which were fantastic - especially the Dancing Eel. It was savory and hit all the right cravings! The wait staff was attentive and made sure to keep us updated, as it was very busy and they were a little slower than they would have liked. They kept our warm green tea topped off while we waited. Also, the warm house sake was a delight! The music was not trying to compete with the ambient conversation, which I always appreciate, and the lighting was bright. And the bathroom was clean, nice-smelling without being overwhelming, and they had a live plant in there! I found that oddly charming.
