The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill - Aurora

We had food delivered to us for dinner - family style make your own gyro's, rice, some deserts (cookies and mom's rice pudding). Fed our family of five - two adults, three kids and had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. It was perfect! The ingredients tasted super fresh and the multiple sauces offered were wonderful to explore. The whole family enjoyed the meal!

I am SO thrilled to have discovered a place to enjoy authentic Greek food! With such a plethora of choices in other food categories, finally the fantastic main ingredients and seasonings that I enjoyed so many years ago during college at the last "GREAT" Greek restaurant I regularly visited....in another state. I tried one of the salads and was VERY pleased with my order. The Baklava I had for dessert was the best I can ever remember having. The establishment is clean, bright, and new. The staff/crew is friendly and eager to please. Parking was free and easy. I expect to be back many times!

First the location, very convenient, and counter service friendly & fast. The food arrived in a reasonable time frame. The owner came over introduced himself, asked how the food was; he was friendly, not rushed and easy to talk too. My husband and I are Muslim and appreciate the owner's inclusive and professional manner.
I cannot wait until they add halal items to the menu. I will spread the word of how flavorful and delicious the food we had was. I see great things ahead for this grill

Very comfortable and excellent food. Clean dining area and friendly staff. Prices comparable to Chipotle and other specialty restaurants. Clean restrooms. Highly recommend this Grill.

Three words - baklava ice cream!

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill lives up to its name, serving great Greek food. We tried a few different things, including an amazing baklava ice cream which in itself will bring me back for more.

For starters, the Great Greek Grill is a more casual, order at the counter and sit down type of place. The menu offers an array of gyros, rice bowls, and entrees. They have all kids of souvlaki including chicken, steak, Australian lamb, and shrimp. I ordered the beef and lamb Great Greek gyro with a side of feta fries. The gyro was absolutely delicious with a hefty portion of meat. The pita was very fresh and warm. The fries were loaded with feta (hence the name). My husband ordered a garlic shrimp skewer and a side salad. Our friend ordered the falafel pita and said he would definitely get it again.

Now on to dessert... oh boy... the baklava and baklava ice cream here is SO good. The ice cream has chunks of baklava in it and is topped with honey. We got a baklava slice on top as well, and it's definitely some of the best baklava I have had. My husband had the rice pudding which was also very good. If you want something rich and sweet, go for the ice cream! If you want a more subtle dessert, the rice pudding is perfect with the vanilla and cinnamon.

Overall, the Great Greek Grill offers many great options and the staff is very friendly. I'll be back to try one of the plates and have more baklava ice cream!
