Really good ????.. it was recommended by a customer. Had the French dip and Potato Leek soup, they were both amazing! Probably one of the best I've ever tried ❤️
No way was I expecting this place to be so mind blowing. It’s kinda tucked back from the street so I hadn’t really noticed it before. However a friend suggested we meet there for lunch. It is a relaxed fast casual environment but the food is 5 stars! I ordered the 48 hour slow cooked short rib and it was right up there with a fancy and expensive steak house. I honestly don’t have words for it, just go try it yourself! I will 100% be back! Bonus is they have a parking lot ????
I have really enjoyed Chop Shop, their recipes are great, and the food is always fresh. I am particularly impressed with their tofu. I usually don't like tofu, but the way it is prepared with a perfectly golden crust brings out great flavor.
Always have a great experience here. A lot of times I come in for a to go order and end up wanting to sit in. The ambiance is excellent. The overall design and layout gives you the option to have an intimate dinner or a nice outdoor hang out. The food is made with unique ingredients mixed in with classic textures we've become used to. The quality sides are what you come here for, the main meal options are delicious don't get me wrong, but the sides are always unique. You can get a burger anywhere but you can't pair it with an Asian twist on brusselsprouts or a tomato based chowder. Be adventurous and give the place a try.
So I give chop shop a 5 star review for food and price. The food is well priced for what you get, I was a little surprised they did not have a lunch menu as I was not expecting to drop $40 for lunch. This is casual dining at its best and that being said I’m always unsure of some things. For instance, what’s the standard tip at casual dining when you don’t have a dedicated server. If it’s like Chipotle’s or Noodles and you get your refills yourself, why is there a tip right after you paid for you food and haven’t received any service. I personally believe that casual dining doesn’t deserve the same tips as a sit down restaurant where you have a server for your table. The food was 5 stars and the price of the food was fair. My only complaint is that asking for 20% tips while charging a average of $15 a plate without the service seems to make me a little disgruntled. Beyond that this place has done a lot of things correctly! Thanks!
