Las Delicias Glendale

I'm glad that we're able to support this yummy restaurant during the pandemic restrictions. We ordered take-out on a Sunday by phone. Food was ready within 20 mins. The Tacos de Carnitas were delicious, as usual. And the menudo that my boyfriend ordered was perfecto.

Good food. Fast service. Lady loves this place. We stay eating here. The margarita could be stronger in my opinion. But overall great place.

We had a great meal. The servers are all super attentive and nice. We never had to get their attention for anything, they were on top of it. The food is delicious and super affordable. This is an excellent place to grab a bite to eat.

We used to always patronize the Las Delicias near downtown., the one on 19th Avenue. With gentrification and hyper-development there, we began to move to this one, the Glendale location. The disadvantages? You have to drive on Colorado Boulevard, at least a little bit. And Glendale has nothing on the downtown vibe, even with all the remodeling everywhere.The advantages? A nice, big, parking lot. That's REALLY nice. Also, a wide veranda on the east side of the building. Otherwise, it;s the same good service, the same menu, the same wonderful food. It’s just as delicious, that’s for sure.

The food was not bad. We were just not overly excited about the flavor but it was decent, EXCEPT for the chicken according to my husband and my son. Also had to wait for a while for our "frozen" margarita. They had brought us on the rocks first, then charged us for the one made wrong. The manager was informed and he did a quick 3minute review of our "problems" and took the $4.50 happy hour drink off. We spent $85 so, that was not much of a discount for THEIR messups. Just saying. The servers were cool. The atmosphere is chill and the patio seating was Nice. Also, the parking is free. Oh and the margaritas were inconsistent, one super strong and next one all ice.
