Sam's No. 3 Glendale

Sam’s is the kind of place you would expect to be a tourist trap. You’d expect overpriced food that wasn’t particularly good. You’d expect to go there once, be disappointed, and never want to go back. Well, I assure you that you’d be wrong in those assumptions.

Sam’s is actually a fantastic diner. It is perpetually busy. I can’t imagine the amount of stress working there, and yet every employee I’ve ever interacted with has been friendly and warm. When you go there, it’s not uncommon to wait 30 minutes to be seated, so if you’re impatient, then I wouldn’t suggest going on a weekend for breakfast. But if you don’t mind, the wait is worth it.
I’ve yet to be disappointed with any dish I’ve ordered at Sam’s. The food comes surprisingly fast...like within 5-6 minutes. Plus the food is all exactly what you’d expect: delicious, big portions, lots of calories, and you’ll leave with a full stomach. The prices are completely reasonable. For two people, you’ll probably spend around $28. Can’t recommend this place enough.

This is a new favorite for me! My mother-in-law introduced Sam's No. 3 to me for lunch and I was hooked right away. Absolutely perfect true diner atmosphere, great service, and very reasonable prices. But best of all, the food is delicious! If you like patty melts, definitely try their's. The best I've had in a long time! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner ... and you can order breakfast all day! A great variety of food choices for pretty much every taste. I plan on bringing my husband and son ... and soon.

Wonderful breakfast place. Our favorite in Denver. Fun and friendly and handles crowds well. Nice ambience and not super loud like some other places.

Huge menu, with greasy home style food. You like Mac and cheese with home fries and green chili? Well if you like for smothered in amazing then you'll love this place. They are all always busy, like an insanely busy. But the reason is because the food is great and you can have a tall beer and watch the game. Service has always been very friendly and quick. One of my favorite restaurants no matter location in Denver!!

The chicken fried steak is to die for. This is my new favorite restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the menu has so many great things it's hard to choose. Our family will definitely be coming back. Thank you
