What a delightful dinner. In a world of pre-packaged, processed food products being served everywhere, I just wanted some real food. And that's what I found on a memorable night of my brief visit to Denver..
Mesquite Grill was quiet-- not many customers; and I was alone at the end of my visit. (The sports bar next door was packed). The Mediterranean flavors were unique. And the owners were generously accommodating.

Family owned and super yummy fish! Crab cakes are absolutely amazing and wine served in painted glasses by the owner

One of my favorite places around. Great fish place, family owned and operated and some of the finest people you will ever meet. Smaller place, may look small from outside but comfortable and homey on the inside with a real mesquite grill and best fish around made by an expert who's been doing it for decades. Get the sauce of the night for an extra buck, have it on the side if you're not sure. Totally worth it!

Today I met a couple of associates for lunch here at the Mesquite Grill. Robert and Wendy are such gracious hosts and our lunch was delicious! I had the lunch portion of Walleye, prepared perfectly! One associate ordered the special of the day, Coconut Shrimp, the other ordered the Fish & Chips. We finished off our excellent meal with the best Key Lime Pie I've ever had (except for the last time I was here and had the same pie!).

What a wonderful find! I was recommended a seafood chain 30 minutes way, but it couldn’t be better than Robert and Wendy’s place. The crab cakes were large and fantastic with mainly crab, herbs, and a little cheese to bind it. I enjoyed the mixed grill with a lemon sauce. All the fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly! I travel widely with this being the best seafood meal I’ve had. You should try this family restaurant.
