Upon arrival, absolutely very limited parking, had to park several blocks away. 20 min to get seated. As we waited, the main restaurant when walking in was very loud. Actually too loud for comfort. We were very uncomfortable during our wait and could not see ourselves eating in such a small loud space. When we went to take our names off and go somewhere else, the man at the front was very helpful. He mentioned that there was another dinning room in the back and is much quieter. We promised us that we would be seated back there. And we were. It was a lot more relaxing and comfortable in the second room. The food was delicious and service was very quick once we ordered. I will be returning, if not just for the helpful manor of the staff
Toast is a fun breakfast spot. Large portions and a variety of Benedict’s. I love the Blackstone. They do also have an amazing club sandwich if you are in a lunch mood. I can’t wait for the new menu.
This place is always wonderful, the fried chicken and biscuits are so amazing. The gravy is thick and has real sausage. There is a hint of honey to the chicken, and the biscuits are flaky and heavy enough to withstand everything else. Service is always quick and friendly. Coffee is ridiculous good, more like your favorite gourmet coffee shop than a dinner. The only downside is if you come on the weekends do be prepared for a bit of a wait. But it is soooo worth it. Oh one last thing the side pancakes? It's enough to feed two people so come hungry.
This place was very loud and crowded. The service was okay. I had the biscuits and gravy which were spicy. The biscuit was very good but there was something to be desired from the gravy. The potatoes were okay, i would have preferred them without the pepper. If you mix the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and potatoes it is good. The eggs seemed a little overdone to me. Maybe if I had the pancakes or toast I would have liked it more.
I've been here twice and I could probably go a hundred more times and still not tire of the food here! This has to be one of my favorite breakfast places of all time! I've ordered the french toast flight and the pancake flight and both were so delicious. They are quick and provide great service. They also have a pretty good list of hot and cold coffees!
