Phenomenal Mexican restaurant with a great menu and amazing tasting food. The restaurant is owned and run by a local family that love what they do. The fajitas were delicious and I liked how they gave raw onion as one of the fillings. The meat that came with the dish was a generous serving and delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone. Be warned though, this place gets really busy, so come really early and prepare to wait. But grab a margarita while you wait.

If you have never had a meal here, you are seriously missing out.
They have fresh ingredients, great service and the food is amazing.
This is hands-down the best meal I have ever had in Boulder, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.

Efrain's is the best restaurant in Boulder

Great food for a great price! Their Green Chile Pork Stew was flavorful and very spicy! Their enchiladas were tasty and filling. The atmosphere was lively and people were waiting up to an hour for a table - so did we and it was worth it! The service was also great and the staff was very friendly.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Boulder!!!
Chef's picks are fantastic and they have all sorts of options.
They are really busy, so make sure you come with plenty of time

I don't know when exactly, but there was a turning point in restaurant history where burgers stopped coming with fries; bread baskets joined the appetizer list; Mexican food was no longer prefaced with free chips and salsa. I am happy to say Efrain's is living in the past. Endless chips and delicious salsa greet you as you sit down. The food is well-portioned and bursting with flavor. The staff is patient and efficient. Come here for your next taco night, you won't be disappointed.
