best indian buffet IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. seriously. but dont tell anyone, crowds could ruin it. thank you god for this restaurant.
The Taj Indian restaurant is absolutely delicious! The food is fresh and appealing. There is always a wide variety on the lunch or dinner buffets. The family owned and operated establishment is well worth the hike up the stairs!
We stopped by after we hiked Mt. Salidas. Were not familiar with the area so we werent sure where to go. We decided to take a chance on Taj and we are so glad we did! The buffet had a lot of vegetarian options and a decent variety of vegan ones.
We were so surprised at how many people frequent this restaurant. Most of the patrons were greeted with hugs by the staff.
The ambience of this restaurant is quite pleasing. A view of the mountains in the background while dining was an added bonus.
I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone craving some Indian food or even a hot cup of chai.
I've been to Taj twice in my many years of being in Boulder. I don't remember the first time, which is the only reason I'm not giving it five stars. This last time was the bee's knees! In the car ride over I thought to myself that I wasn't even hungry and that I would probably just get an appetizer, but as soon as I walked in and smelled the food I changed my mind. When I was informed that the buffet was available, even though it was a Sunday evening, my life was changed forever. After three heaping plates, I can tell you that the Taj does not make any bad food. There was such a variety that it was hard to try everything, but I managed to do it and it was well worth it!
This is the best Indian food I have had in a very long time (it might be my new favorite spot in Boulder). The ambiance in the restaurant is lovely and the owners/staff were so polite. Will definitely be back.
