The Rusty Melon

Ive only done takeout orders here, as we are still trying to social distance. (if you are so worried about it maybe the person commenting should try a take out order too) I’ve ordered from here three times now, and brought friends for a fourth pick up order. It’s been wonderful food each time. Having a solid option for cooked to order burgers is exactly what Gunbarrel needed, and at a great price. Stoked to come here and eat in and drink once the world is more normal!

Decent food, poor service. We ordered burgers which took 30 minutes to come out on a super dead Tuesday afternoon. The server dropped them off to us then disappeared for the rest of our visit. Didn’t check in once. We waited for 20 minutes after we were ready for our check because we did not want to go walking around the restaurant due to covid and out of respect for other patrons. Finally we got up to find her and she was sitting at the bar talking to someone. Jumped up when she saw us and gave us our check. Like I said, decent food but a little expensive for what it is and not good enough to make up for the bad experience.

Great service, food, and drinks. I can confirm the waitresses wear masks and the tables are distanced appropriately.

Just opened up! I have to admit the food exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is nice with reasonable outdoor patio and a covered area. The staff and owner were friendly and seemed proud of the place. Will be back soon.
