Smokin Yard's BBQ

Been coming here for years! One of the best BBQ restaurants in town if not the best! Prime rib is my favorite! Friendly staff, especially Aaron! Thanks for introducing the Cluckin’ Hot Sauce to us! Tyler was friendly hot front, too! All around great food and staff!

The Carolina pulled pork was good. It lacked a little flavor and wasn’t a true vinegar based Carolina BBQ, but overall was good. The Mac and cheese is excellent, a bigger cup would be nice! I also really enjoyed the fried pickles. They give ya boiled peanuts too which are really good. My friends ribs were a bit dry, I’d stick to the brisket or pork BBQ. Overall we all enjoyed our meals and would go back.

Incredible BBQ. Brisket was really good, as was the pulled pork and the ribs. Fried okra nice and crispy, not greasy cooked just right. Tasty coleslaw a coke and two delicious looking cupcakes, (too full to eat em now), all for $36. Staff very nice and knowlagable. Really good selection too. And Coke in a GLASS bottle.

Not very big inside so if it's crowded might be hard find table. Great patio seating, dogs welcome. Great selection of meats and sides, I had the chopped brisket sandwich and well I will be back!!! Friendly and attentive staff. Great option in Idaho Springs!
