Both boyfriend and I got the vegan burgers. The were a normal burger size, I was about to add a bunch of toppings and even get coleslaw on the side. Boyfriends fries were pretty tasty also. They came out golden on the crisper side. We love the burgers, he just didn't like the umami sauce that much. Thanks for the delicious experience.
Decent beer and good food. The pork green chili had the right level of spice, but the Buffalo nachos did not. The wait staff was very attentive. Had the porter which was a little hoppy for my palate, but ok. Street parking is tough in the winter, so be prepared. The environment was a bit loud, just the acoustics of the building, but made conversation difficult at our table. I don't know if I'd make a special trip up here to eat/drink, but as a stop on the way up or down, it's a solid choice.
My family and I ate here recently. We just drove from Estes Park to Idaho Springs one day on vacation. No reason, just drive. We stopped at the visitors center there in Idaho Springs and they recommended this place to us coupled with the Westbound and Down Brewery. Excellent drinks, excellent food. Accommodating for young children! Would highly recommend to anyone traveling through.
Absolutely wonderful friendly service at the bar and great conversation with the bartender. Super military and first responder friendly. They even have challenge coins, so make sure to bring one of yours for them to display and get one in return. The food and beer were also excellent. The entire place was charming, clean, and welcoming. Definitely a don't miss in Idaho Springs. Prices were a little high but that's typical for the area.
