I've been a customer for 40 years and it's still the same great food, people, atmosphere and pleasantly the same reasonable prices!
Home made cinnamon rolls under $3.00, $1.75 for biscuits and gravy (half order) and smothered breakfast burritos for $3.75 (gravy or green chili) are still the best bargain in town! Entree portions are generous and mostly priced under $10.00.
Plenty of seating, but limited parking, especially during morning or lunch time.

5⭐ relative to a "standard greasy spoon" diner - food is solid, perhaps the facility could do with a bit of refurbishing, but what makes this place great is the phenomenal service! Andrea and Joy remember me every time I sit down at the counter, even when it's been a few months. My coffee cup never goes empty, and the food is ready fast. After a few visits they took my picture and added it to their "wall of regulars," but from what I've seen everyone gets the same kind of warm welcome and attention.

The only thing that really could have been better was there could have been a little more parking spaces especially handicap spaces...it's really hard for a handicapped person to get in and out of but other than that it was a great time and they tried to make everything accommodated the best that they could....I'm over all satisfied with the restaurant there is nothing lacking....the cook here is amazing and he always gets everything done as fast as possible and done right the first time you don't have to repeat yourself five to seven times to get the thing that you asked for which is not something I can say for the rest of the butcher block cafes

We were exhausted from a long day of travel and stopped in here for a meal. The staff was lovely and very attentive. The food was SO good. We all ordered a cheese burger and felt like they tasted homemade but even better. I guess it was our luck too, apparently the time we were in there was the $7 meal time so we got a lot of food and drink for $7. Highly recommend this place for a nice casual meal for a great price.

Perfect little diner open early enough to get a real breakfast. I'm sold on their French toast. They have several different places to order that. The cinnamon rolls are a thing too. Hot with margarine. I guess it's a locals thing. I tried it back at the hotel. It's good. They have some standard breakfast fare that I enjoyed. Chili is good and a hot soup is nice in the winter. Big plus plus for the place is it has its very own parking lot. This area is growing/getting trendier I guess and that helps. I think you can even hop off a bus too. Very nice owner that tries to remember your name. I like that. Makes it more better. Being on the road is difficult enough as it is. Things like this make it better.
