Café Mercato

We had our first experience at this restaurant tonight with takeout services, and it was incredible. So delicious and authentic, friendly service, and excellent quality. Pasta is fresh and the gelato brought me back to Italy. This is our new go-to Italian place in East Denver.

Good italian food in Denver is hard, if not impossible to find. Factor in COVID-19 and take-out difficulties, I was setting my expectations low... but wow this blew me away! This place is the real deal. Tastes like my Italian auntie’s recipe. I ordered the clam and shrimp fettuccine and it was full of flavor. Clams and shrimp tasted fresh (as much as a landlocked state can be!). You can feel the love in the pasta. I will be returning to try more of the menu to-go and in-person when things open up.

I didn't even realize this place has been here for about 3 years. The food was great, with most pasta made in house. Service was attentive and efficient. Great to have a place like this in Lowry so you don't need to trek downtown for high quality Italian.

I had only soup & salad. It was one of the best meals I have had. I highly recommend that you have lunch here before you go into the Wings Museum.

This place ROCKS. Outstanding all around. Our waiter Gustavo was amazing. Great menu selection and reasonable prices. Grab a seat in front of the prep area/kitchen to see all the action and ingredients come alive. Some seriously talented chefs are at work!!
