I went here with my husband and two-year old. We had a great experience. The waitstaff were all very welcoming and we loved the design of the restaurant (both in architecture and decor). The food we had was all delicious, and out of all of the Japanese restaurants we have been to in America, the food here tasted the most authentic to what we had on our trips to Japan. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would love to visit again the next time we are in Denver.
Always amazing. The pinnacle of Japanese food in Denver. The servers are always friendly and prompt. Seating can get interesting sometimes with shared tables but it's not a big deal. Will always come back here for a fancy dinner whenever I need to celebrate or have amazing Japanese!
Even if the food wasn't amazing (it is), the ambiance and setting alone would earn Domo some stars. However the food is absolutely incredible. It's filling, surprising (always pleasantly), thoughtfully crafted, and beautifully plated.
I wouldn't recommend Domo if you are looking for a quick bite. With the decor and dishes like traditional dipping noodles, it's plain to see that their goal here isn't just to sell you food alone. Rather they are satisfying all your senses, making you comfortable, and ensuring every aspect of the dinner experience is considered and tweaked to please.
It stands alone amongst restaurants in Denver, and it was opened before the city was considered cool. If you're looking for something special, or an impressive dinner destination for guests, it's a sure win.
Bonus: once warm, you can even eat in their beautiful Japanese garden. This place is unreal.
Amazing food and great service with culture style entertainment. You know it's amazing when the business on going for 23 years still popular till today. Highly recommend this place for true foodies ????
Great food, fair service, fantastic decor, great atmosphere. They serve heartier, Japanese food than I usually see.
Humorously confusing menu. Very pleasant garden (that you can eat in during warmer months). Gets pretty busy, so I expect a wait during typical meal times. No reservations. Inside of building is fully decked out
