A good spot for beer on south broadway. The pizza was also delicious. Friendly service and tasty beer.
You won't find a quirkier taproom in town. Or perhaps the nation. I've been to a lot of breweries in my life, I've never come across the same type of ambiance you'll find at Grandma's House. It's just plain fun and silly. A great atmosphere to enjoy a beer.
Cute spot to go grab a beer and meet some friends or new people. When you walk in you are greeted with a warm atmosphere, board games with pieces missing, butterscotch candy, smash bros on the couch, and on Sundays people crochet. I've found most people who come here to be really easy to talk to and a lot of times you can sit down and play a game with them.
Interesting concept, but I struggled to find a beer that was equal or better than what I would call competitive or substantially worthy. The one brew I thought was best was Minisbrunner. The lack of enthusiasm from the server was evident, and didnt endear me to consider a return.
A group of co-workers attended the skull painting event hosted by an interactive pottery company.
We had a few drinks and put together some artwork.
I call my piece of art 'Captain Blacktooth'.
They also have a Nintendo 64 to play old school video games. I highly recommend this location for drinks and entertainment.
