We decided to eat here for a lunch before leaving town. Good quick spot with fantastic biscuits (seemed to be endless). We got the brisket and southern burger. Brisket was fantastic and worth coming back to this place again. The southern burger was tasty as well, two slabs of bacon and melted cheese with BBQ sauce( not very over powering, but just right) made my mouth water when I looked at it.
The service was spot on for getting us refilled with the tasty biscuits ( sweet cornbread, maybe some orange zest, and melted cheese on top). Food service was fast and print, waitress was spot on with the refills and customer service.
I would like to try this place again!
Service was unbeatable. Food was quick. I was dying for some brisket and ribs. The brisket was great, but honestly, the baby backs could have been much better. They were a let down. THEY HAVE THE GOOD ICE, so all is good!
Overall a good place... collards we’re a good side order and the onion rings and mini cornbreads were solidly good appetizers. Brisket and chicken were okay but not nearly the best you can get. Fun atmosphere.... it’s a 4 out of 5 for me....
They have pretty good BBQ. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is good for a date night, family time, and hanging out with friends. Dinning alone is perfect as well. Also the cheesy biscuits are amazing. If you're in the area give them a try.
Overall great lunch experience. Great place for a quick bite during lunch, where they had great lunch size portions for around $10. Service was friendly and generally pretty fast. It’s located in a great area, only downside is that most of the other restaurants nearby had outdoor seating which would have been great for a mid September day, but Jim ‘N Nicks didn’t have an. Overall, was satisfied with my meal and would recommend to others.
