Outstanding takes on southern vittles without being ruined by a chef trying to make cuisine from Americana. Excellent service and magical drinks to pair with lovely dishes. Nice ambience as well
Had a great time catching up with old friends here. We ordered the family special for our group. It was amazing! Roast chicken, braised cabbage, mashed potatoes with caramelized onion gravy, and roast carrots served family style. Wait staff was solid, friendly and knowledgeable. Oh and if anything else go to try the biscuits! So good. I ended the night with Pappy Van Winkle 12yr. Not easy to find.
I'm racking my brain for a time I've had better fried chicken. Kentucky hot brown is no joke as well. Given the opportunity would have probably ordered more drinks but all in all a great brunch
Great service from Tara, Amanda, and Bryce! Food was really good (maple butter pumpkin bread) to OK (shrimp grits and biscuits). Actually expected the sausage gravy to be a lot better.
Second time to come here, was a little disappointed this time. Biscuits and drinks are consistently SO good. The chicken was dry, overcooked and v small for the $24 market price, very unimpressed. The pork and chicken sausage dish was okay, nothing special and also quite small for $17. The service is great. Overall I'd return only if it was for some drinks and the biscuits.
