Pete's Greek Town Cafe

Been going since the 70's...up and down in the last couple of years but I am proud to announce it is once again good. No bartender but staff went out of their way to provide cocktails for the table. We all had great food, service and leftovers.

Food is excellent. Service was wonderful. Cleanliness .. not so much. There’s a plant coming in from the wall from the outside. Portions are HUGE! Kitchen floor was gross .. a good sweep could fix that. I recommend the pork and chicken so yummy. Gyro is excellent too!

I ate here with my family on a Sunday night around 8, they were not busy at all! We come here for the best gyros!!! They're so amazing, the meat is sliced so thin; I've never seen it so thin anywhere else. It just like melts in your mouth. And the baklava for dessert is amazing and HUGE!! You can easily share one piece for 3 adults; it's that big.

Having visited several mes both my companion I enjoyed total experience quality of meal service. The both styles of moussaka were well presented tasty. Personally even as carnivore the vegetable version was my favorite. The Greek spaghetti was different similar to macaroni and cheese with no vegetables or tomato sauce. The spinach pie was excellent the veggie burger was surprising fresh veggies on a bun but again substantial flavorful. The background noise in dinning room is soft so conversation is possible without yelling . I would suggest as calm enjoyable place to dine and has broad menu choices.Well worth a visit. Rick K
