Root Down

Worth the trip to C gates! Short wait (estimated 15m, actual 5m), friendly knowledgeable service, lots of healthy menu options, and interesting interior decor. Haven't had airport food this good in a while :-D

Amazing restaurant. Beautiful staff who really cares and is very vigilant and accommodating for your schedule. I'm on a plant based diet and they were so willing and knowledgeable to help me with that. Aside from that the atmosphere is lovely and the food delicious. The prices aren't bad for an airport too. I highly recommend.

Best meal at an airport restaurant EVER! I had the carrot curry soup and a lamb slider, both outstanding. Great service as well. Honestly, I was just looking for a place to sit down and eat so my expectations were not high; much to my surprise, I had a delicious meal.

One of the best meals I've ever had at an airport. Beyond that, it's a great meal period. We had veggie burgers and a beet salad that were extremely good. Desert was beautiful, a raspberry chocolate ice cream treat that is legitimately delicious - and not just at an airport. Staff was happy and friendly and very cognizant of our departure time. Root Down in the Denver Airport is probably one of my favorite places to grab an amazing vegetarian dinner across the country. If I had this spot in my home town I would visit OFTEN. As it is, I try to get connections in Denver JUST to go to Root Down. This time, I thought I would not have enough time on my connection to visit, but my first flight was so delayed I had to book a different flight after missing the connection. Since it meant that I had more time I'm the Denver Airport, I can say I was honestly never happier that I had missed a flight! :-)
It is worth getting home at 1 am instead of 10 if it means I get to have dinner at Root Down! Thanks for another AMAZING dinner!!!
