I cannot say enough great things about the Lumber Baron and its staff. My husband and I got married there on January 4 of this year, and the entire experience was wonderful. Erin Merelli is a fantastic coordinator and was so helpful and encouraging through the process. As soon as we met with her the first time, we knew we wanted to book with the Lumber Baron. She's friendly, thoughtful, and accommodating, and she made the entire process so stress-free and fun.

The actual event went so well. We had rented out the other rooms in the venue, so we were able to have friends and family stay with us. Everyone raved about the beauty of the mansion and the friendliness of the staff. Joel and Elaine, the owners, were there all day as well and helped with every detail, right down to cuing the music for the processional. They were engaged with our guests and made everyone feel welcome.

The food? AMAZING. Chef Sheila is incredibly skilled and made an amazing meal for us and our guests. What we appreciated the most was her willingness to accommodate special requests for food allergies. We had multiple people who were gluten- and dairy-free, and are used to not being able to eat more than salad (if that) at weddings. Chef Sheila came out as dinner was served to let everyone know about the ingredients, and everyone was able to eat and enjoy the meal.

Erin, the bartender, was fun and helpful and served up some GREAT mixed drinks. Everyone loved her and we appreciated her being there all night.

Long story short, this venue is fantastic. We were treated like family, and they helped make our wedding day perfect. The rooms are gorgeous, the food is great, and the staff is incomparable. Don't hesitate to book for an event, a night, or just visit for brunch!

We had a large group of friends make reservations for a delicious brunch this past weekend, at the Lumber Baron Inn. The facility is incredibly beautiful, the level of service from the staff is top notch, the food was delicious and Joel was a wonderful Host/Chef/Tour Guide! I recommend this place to everyone for their all around experience. Now I have had dinner and brunch here (as a non-guest of the B&B) and it knocked my socks off, again. It is also an amazing value. Keep it up!

This place was such a dream! It was so unique, yet also unpretentious. Felt very cozy and overall just a really nice place to unwind after a busy day in Denver. The breakfast every day was such a nice way to kick off the morning and each of the ceilings were each more interesting than the last. It was a bonus that much of the house was still decorated for Halloween which just added to the charm. Would definitely stay here again!

While deciding on choosing this location for our wedding, my fiance and I tried brunch there. What an amazing experience. We went back again and had another great meal! We booked the venue and were treated to the wedding of a lifetime. Joel, Erin and Elaine were the most professional, fun hosts we could have hoped for. The process was effortless, and the BBQ, etc was again amazing! They worked with us closely every step of the way and helped us figure out some numbers and how to set up for the reception! I highly recommend the Lumber Baron Inn for eating and hosting an event. Our guests were impressed by the house, the staff and the food. We received many compliments and they gushed over what a perfect venue it was.

Beautiful house managed by some super friendly and lovely people. Had breakfast and an afternoon tea service in their beautiful dining areas. Amazing local home made goodies. A+ Lemon Curd. Also they have doors hidden in bookshelves, if that doesn't sell you I don't know what will.

Centrally Located, real easy to get downtown, but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. If you're looking at visiting Denver and want to stay in a unique spot look no further.
