The Pioneer Bar

Pioneer bar is definitely a locals bar. Lots a of great people there. The kitchen is always putting out quality dishes. They always have great choices for beer. Golden Tee, pool table, darts.

Me fiance and I dropped in on a whim... let's check out a dive bar on Univerity was the goal. This place was perfect and we had a blast. From a light dinner to shooting some pool and throwing drunken darts, the laughs kept coming. Thanks for the great atmosphere and music!

I love it here. I was a bit nervous it would be a "bro" bar because it's so close to a college. But it 100% is not. There are tons of people from the neighborhood surrounding who come in, the bartenders are amazing, especially Dustin! The food is awesome, I recommend the nachos. I always bring my pals in when they come from out of town. Great service, delish drinks, fun atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more!0

I have been here several times. The staff are always very nice. I miss the fish and chips. But, they have enough great food to enjoy.

This is just the sort of place I love. Good food with a varied menu and good prices for the area. A great selection of local beers on tap. Very, very friendly people, all working hard. A great place to look around at decor. This place has a soul.
