Yak and Yeti Restaurant & Event Center

This is one of our favorite places to eat. The lunch buffet is amazing and they offer both vegan/vegetarian options and spicy and mild choices too. The veggie korma and sweet potato masala are particularly wonderful. Their prices are reasonable, particularly for kids.

I am a huge Indian food fan. I am also fairly forgiving with Indian food so long as it is spice forward and looks good I am all in.
I have to preface this review with the fact that I have only had the Indian buffet, none of the specific dishes.

The Buffet is fine enough. The saag is good as are most of the sides they offer. I just was lacking flavor the two times I went. It just did not blow me away and I wouldn't go back for it. I would rather make it at home or order in from other places in the area.

It does seem I am in the minority here though, a lot of folks LOVE Yak and Yeti and I think it is worth going and trying for yourself.

My only direct complaint is that the drink selection and drinks themselves are not great. They were out of almost every single beer option they had and the mixed cocktails were very weak.

My wife and I love this place and been there dozens of times. We love it so much we even had them cater our wedding. Many of our guests said it was the best indian food they ever had. Need I say more?

Yak and Yeti is, by far, our favourite Indian restaurant. Over the years, we have come to appreciate all of their locations including this one. The buffet is spectacular and delicious with a good variety of items that ate kept fresh by the servers and chefs. The event center portion of this location is beautiful and extraordinarily festive when an event is taking place. Over the years this place has started to show its age and a revitalization is in order to address new paint, clean ventilation vents, and worn carpet. Still, this is a family favorite!

I met friends for lunch on a Sunday. The food was plentiful, tandoori chicken or the chicken curry is good. I tried both the saffron rice and balmatic is fluffy and hot. The Indian potato curry is delicious. Fresh salad is okay, needs more condiments than pickled garnishes. I give this place 3 1/2 stars.
