Rico Colorado's one and only Fireweed Cafe !
Locally owned and operated and staffed by charming locals with an excellent knowledge of the area.
Charismatic old time feeling location with state-of-the-art delicious healthy foods.
I highly recommend the turkey frittata although it will most likely be sold out if you get there after 9:00
I also had a very nice salad the next day and purchased a bag of dried mangoes that was the best I've ever had!
Puppy Parking outside by the side deck with tables.
    Not to be missed.

Very pricey for the amount you get. Two small sandwiches and a very small salad was $35. They charged $5 extra for 2 slices of gluten free bread. We sat ourselves and bussed our own table and the still asked for a tip.

Cute place in Rico, CO. We ordered the turkey sandwich and the ham and cheese with two seltzer waters in cans. They have a nice shaded outdoor patio, and are dog friendly. The food was delicious, and counter staff was friendly, however, this place is WAY overpriced. The menu board stated each sandwich was $11. When we got the bill, they were $4 more, each! One of the seltzer waters cost $2, reasonable enough, but the other cost $5. You could purchase an entire 6pk for that price! Too bad. We'll definitely find a different lunch spot next time.

Thanks to their sandwich board, I found a good cappuccino and a delicious homemade burrito while passing through Rico. The owners are very nice and take care with their selections, which includes a variety of natural groceries and plant extracts they make themselves. Well worth a stop!

What a wonderful cafe that we stumbled upon. The Forest Floor is the most incredible drink I have tasted. It was so good, that I made my boyfriend drive out of the way the following day to go back and get. Great vibes, great attention to detail by owners who so evidently are committed to their business. A must stop!
