First Watch - Highlands Ranch

The general ambiance of the restaurant is really nice. Our server was really friendly but maybe a little overwhelmed by the volume of tables. Our food took quite a while to reach the table, and one guest didn't receive their plate until the rest of us were about half way through our meals. We asked a question about the food and when the manager came over it was as if he didn't actually know the answer. However, the quality of food was pretty great!

We were out and about and decided to stop for breakfast on a late Saturday morning. We pulled up nearby breakfast places on maps and decided to give this place a try. On the way over I saw the reviews and was not impressed. I read a few to my husband and we sat in the car out front wondering if we give it a shot or pass. I’m not one to waste calories or money on mediocre food but we decided to give it a try and so happy we did. Great service, cute decor/atmosphere and the food was awesome. Every bite was delicious. Will definitely be back.

I've been to the First Watch down in Colorado Springs a few times and have always been satisfied overall. This new location is great as well and staff was very friendly. The service was worse than the Colorado Springs location as they forgot segments of our order on 2 occasions. Waiting times were minimal though we did go at 1:00 on a Monday which is a off time for First Watch. Our food took around 15 minutes to come out which was very quick. Overall enjoyed our pancakes and Breakfast Bowl, and hopefully will be coming back soon once they improve their service a bit more!

Was there on opening day. I loved this place. I don't understand everyone's negative reviews that are more about it not being the Egg and I vs the actual quality of the food. The food was great in my opinion. Clean food options and solid ingredients. Enjoy the layout of the restaurant. More open feel. Check the menu before you go as it is not the Egg and I but I fully recommend giving them a go.
