Old Chicago

Super good deep dish pizza, good drinks and great service. It's a noisy but chill atmosphere. It was busy when we went on Friday night, but the wait for our table and food were very short considering the busyness of the restaurant.

Food was very good. Especially the wings and they were fairly priced. Went with the "bucket" and we definitely got enough. Everything came out in a timely manner and everything was clean. Service was okay, but I think there was some new training going on. Seats could use a bit of an upgrade but no matter where you sat you had a good view of TV.

The service at this OC was not great.

I asked for 2 beer tasters, selected one of those that I sampled to drink as a pint size, and the pint size beer that came to me was neither of the ones I tried. But it was so long before our server came back, that I just drank the mystery beer even though I don't know what it was, and I only thought it was ok.

We ordered the double crust pizza, and the toppings we not spread around evenly. There were only onions and peppers on half the pizza, and the pepperoni was only on the other half. The sausage was mostly on the side with the pepperoni, but a few made it over to the veggie side. It just felt very sloppy, and made the pizza less enjoyable.

I also felt like we understand the rules of their "tour" better than our server did, and that was a little disconcerting.

Overall it was a "fine" visit, but it left us a little frustrated. We love Old Chicago and will go back, but maybe not to this location.

Old Chicago has always been one of my favorite places to unwind. Excellent customer service great tasting food and awesome atmosphere. By the way our waitress Julie was very eager to give us great service. I will continue to return. Great job Old Chicago!!????????

We were in the night of the big snow storm. It was still fairly busy. I got the Chicago 7 calzone and my husband got chicken wings. Both of our meals were very good. Mohammad was our server. I really have to hand it to this guy too because he was really great at his job. He was upbeat even though hell was literally freezing over. He was super friendly. I hate people so when someone can be that friendly and make me feel welcome I give an extra star for that. The bartender must have taken pity on us because we didn't order alcoholic drinks and gave us 4 cherries each in our cherry cokes. I gave an extra star for that as well. We will be back. Hopefully Mohammad will be our waiter again.
