Earls Kitchen + Bar

Was not expecting much but previous reviews were good. Had a delicious meal with my wife and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The swordfish tacos were flavorful and the calamansi drink refreshing. Casual atmosphere with great good

I ordered the surf and turf. The service was outstanding the shrimp, potatoes and broccoli were very good, though the broccoli was just a tad underdone. The steak was a major disappointment. It was very sinewy. I did have it med rare which may have contributed to that. Honestly though you expect to be able to get a steak med rare at a place like Earl's.

Earl's had a fantastic atmosphere that made it perfect to reconnect with some family. It took around 15-20 minutes for us to get water and our server. I can see how most people will not like that initial wait; however, we were fine with it because we enjoyed meeting with family overall. The food was pretty good, but probably not worth the price tag. I did get the salmon and the salmon portion is nice, but they are stingy on the rice. The asparagus was pretty bland and for a $20 dish, could have been a little better. Overall, the restaurant probably just had an off night (even though it wasn't super busy), but I would be willing to come back here again.
