Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant

This is unquestionably one of the most attractive restaurants in the region. Always when I come to this place I am awfully glad. They maintain their high standard service and the topmost level of dishes they offer. You surely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.

Really good, nice restaurant. I had a bowl of green chili with braised pulled pork, rice, and grated Jack cheese, which the waiter suggested. It was delicious and just right for lunch. I saw some of the other plates coming out and they all looked very good and large portions. I believe this is also a brewery, though I didn't partake. Great service!

Excellent Mexican food. I had steak fajitas and they were to die for. The margaritas we're good as well reasonable pricing. It's a very popular place. Went on a Wednesday night and it was a 25min wait...so that tells you something about the quality of food.highly recommend.

Really good food. Consistent. Good atmosphere and you can sit at the bar. Free chips and salsa when you sit down. Last time i was there i ordered the shrimp/crab enchilada. The shrimp were the very tiny kind and i could not detect any crab. Was still pretty good, but probably won't order that again. The chicken burrito is always great.

We were visiting Denver, and stumbled upon this place by accident .... My kids were screaming they were hungry and this place was like 0.2 miles from our location, so we stopped in at lunch time. The place was EMPTY ... which kind of made us nervous, but we gave it a go. SO GLAD we did. Myself and my oldest daughter ordered the tortilla soup - which was AMAZING. Served beautifully and tasted amazing. The server ... well, he was nothing less than the best server I've ever had. Seriously wish I could remember his name.... He told us he lived in CO Springs and was fairly new to the place, but he had awesome recommendations, kept all our requests coming, and overall was just amazing -- i mean really, the guy needs a raise or something. He SOLD me (vegetarian) on the cauliflower taco, and my very meat eating husband ordered one also, along with 2 other tacos ... he said the cauliflower taco was probably one of the best "street style" tacos he's ever had, and very much enjoyed the chicken and fish taco also... We've now been home from vacationing in Denver for 2 weeks, and we are still talking about this place. Can NOT wait to get back to Denver and come back here!
